Mobile Field Check turns a traced fault into one bounded, read-only field task: which terminal, which input LED, which photo. It runs in a browser on any modern phone, with no app-store install and no special hardware, and it stops the moment conditions aren’t as expected.
Record the actual LED state, lit or dark, exactly as found. The sample snapshot (observed 2026-08-29 14:12Z) reported this input active; your observation is logged as agreeing, disagreeing, or missing evidence. Stand outside the arc-flash boundary. Read only: do not remove the panel deadfront.
Photograph the switch state and label. Do not actuate the device without the approved procedure.
A human controls engineer compares the field state with the cited rung and the terminal drawing.
Mobile Field Check is deliberately not a floating manual or an open chatbot. It exists to confirm or refute one cited claim at a time, safely.

Photos and observed-state confirmations attach to the exact step, with timestamps, for the incident record.
Electrical boundary, authorization, and safety-state limits stay on screen at every step. When in doubt, the task stops.
When field evidence doesn’t resolve the trace, the task routes to a human controls engineer with the full context attached.
Completed checks become incident history for the cell, so the next fault starts from what was already proven.
In the PT-104 sample incident, the trace engine identified LS_104_LLO as the blocking instruction for the 2026-08-29 14:12Z sample snapshot but lacks current field evidence. Mobile Field Check does not tell the technician to defeat the interlock; it sends a read-only comparison task with explicit stop conditions, and a human engineer reviews what comes back.
